Interstate 10 – A man was arrested for driving while intoxicated. 9:57 p.m., 600 Rosewood – A woman, 70, died of natural causes in hospice care. SUNDAY, DEC. 30 6:18 P.M., 100 Deer Creek – A man was arrested for giving alcohol to a minor. 9:44 p.m., 543mm E. Interstate 10 – Police made a traffic stop and arrested the driver on three warrants: no driver’s license, failure to appear in court and speeding. MONDAY, DEC. 31 3:11 p.m., 533mm E. Interstate 10 – A driver who was weaving was pulled over and ticketed for driving with an invalid license and driving without insurance. 9:17 p.m., 1400 E. Blanco – A woman was cited for minor possession of alcohol and driving with an invalid license. 11:45 p.m., 300 Hampton Cove – A woman who allegedly intentionally cut her wrists was transported to Methodist Hospital. MONDAY, DEC. 31 12:31 a.m., 1000 Roundup Drive, Boerne – A resident reported his son, 15, came home intoxicated and passed out, and he wished to file charges on whomever supplied his son with alcohol. 8:09 a.m., 100 Sabine Road, Boerne – A hospice death was reported. 10:36 a.m., 200 Highland Woods, Bergheim – A worker’s truck was broken into and tools were stolen the previous day. 4:32 p.m., Dodge Road, Boerne – A woman reported that her daughter had sighted a man, who had been threatening the family, driving up and down the road in a purple Sunfire. 5:04 p.m., 200 Walnut Grove, Boerne – Several mailboxes were reported knocked down. Interstate 10, Boerne – A man reported dogs injuring and killing his sheep. 1:59 p.m., 600 Fifth St., Comfort – A mobile home was reported vandalized. 2:45 p.m., 300 Pecan Parkway, Waring – Illegal dumping of oils and cleaning fluid was reported. 6:14 p.m., Pfeiffer Road, Boerne – A woman reported neighbors with firearms fighting, and a round hit her parents’ house. 10:46 p.m., Nollkamper Road, Boerne – An overturned vehicle was reportedly abandoned by its driver. SATURDAY, JAN. 5 7:50 a.m., 300 Sparkling Springs Drive, Boerne – EMS transported a woman, 77, to Methodist Hospital with a possible stroke. SUNDAY, JAN. 6 6:12 p.m., 100 Riverwood, Boerne – An anonymous complainant reported parties being held for minors. 8:03 p.m., 300 Spanish Pass Road, Boerne – A woman reported phone threats were made to her daughter. FAIR OAKS RANCH MONDAY, DEC. 24 11:10 a.m., 29300 Raintree Ridge – A neighbor called police to report a possible robbery. Police found shattered glass from the back door on the ground and several jewelry items were missing. 7:46 p.m., 9000 Fair Oaks Parkway – A transient man sleeping near a business was given a ride to a Boerne hotel. THURSDAY, DEC. 27 5:00 p.m., 32100 W Burnt Cedar – Leon Springs Volunteer Fire Fighters extinguished a grass fire. 10:03 p.m., 8800 Cavalry – Police responded to reports of loud bangs heard in the area and pursued a fleeing vehicle in the area. Police pulled the vehicle over after it drove past a stop sign without stopping. Police confiscated fireworks found in the backseat and issued the driver three citations for disregarding a stop sign, violating a city ordinance against fireworks and for driving without proof of insurance. SUNDAY, DEC. 30 5:59 p.m., 8000 Rocking Horse – A deer was found dead from a bullet wound and poached for his antlers. The deer’s body was taken to the city facility for disposal. MONDAY, DEC. 31 8:55 p.m., 31400 Post Oak – Police help extinguish a grass fire. 10:07 p.m., 8200 Rocking Horse – Police helped extinguish a grass fire. Police found used fireworks in the street, which they logged as evidence. TUESDAY, JAN. 1 12:01 a.m., 30600 Wild Fire – Police assisted neighbors in extinguishing a large grass fire in a yard. 2:26 p.m., 28300 Ruffian – A girl found a rusty, loaded handgun outside. Five live rounds were found inside the gun. A serial-number search produced no records of the gun’s ownership. WEDNESDAY, JAN. 2 11:48 a.m., 30300 Ralph Fair – A man was arrested for driving while intoxicated. Two dogs that were in his truck were transported to the Boerne Animal Shelter. 4:00 p.m., 8800 Jodhpur – An unidentified man was seen approaching children who were playing in the street and beckoning them to his hatchback car. The driver left before witnesses could obtain a license plate number. The man was described as having grey hair and a long grey beard.
