Burglary of vehicle

Dec. 12, 5:47 a.m., 500 block of Garraty: A homeowner reported someone had broken out the driver’s-side window of his truck. His wallet and two phones had been stolen. The reporting officer took photos of the scene, but fingerprint evidence was contaminated by bad weather.

Burglary of vehicle

Dec. 12, 7:15 a.m., 700 block of Eventide: A truck owner discovered his in-dash stereo and a GPS unit was stolen from his vehicle, and the window was found to be smashed. The reporting officer took fingerprint evidence from the dashboard.

Possession of drug paraphernalia

Dec. 17, 11:57 p.m., 700 block of Eldon: An officer pulled over a car he observed run a stop sign, and as he got the driver’s license, the officer detected a strong marijuana odor. The driver and passenger were instructed to get out of the car, and the officer found a glass pipe and other paraphernalia in the passenger’s jacket. An unopened bottle of wine was also found. The driver received a summons for being a minor in possession of alcohol, and the passenger was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.
