4:31 p.m.; 300 Meadow Lane, Comfort

A caller reported a black Rottweiler on her porch. The dog left and the caller stated that if the animal came on her porch again she had her gun ready to shoot it.

5:30 p.m., 100 Stonegate

A persistent door-to-door salesperson refused to take “no” for an answer and kept ringing doorbells. A deputy was dispatched to impart a lesson in Selling Etiquette 101.

9:05 p.m., 100 Stonegate

A 911 caller stated he suspected someone had entered his home because his dog kept barking, but no intruder was found.

Kids were reported shooting into a pile of wood and other random targets.

2:42 p.m., Fifth Street, Comfort

A caller being evicted from his residence by his common law wife said his lawyer advised him the eviction notice wasn’t valid because it was not signed by a judge and wanted to know his rights.

TUESDAY, Jan. 22

7:28 p.m., Interstate 10, MM527

A 911 call regarding reckless driving led to an arrest on DWI charges.

SATURDAY, Jan. 26

12:32 a.m., 31100 Interstate 10

A 25-year-old male reportedly jumped out of a moving vehicle and had a cracked skull, bleeding eye and a road rash. An ambulance transported him to a hospital.

A woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

MONDAY, Jan. 21

7:30 p.m., 800 Johns

A man was arrested on a Travis County warrant for driving while intoxicated and disorderly conduct.

4:54 p.m., 100 Cibolo Basin

Police contacted a man who was soliciting in the neighborhood. The solicitor was advised to stop soliciting and not return until he acquires a permit.

11:22 p.m., Plant/ Rosewood

A man was arrested for possession of marijuana.

WEDNESDAY, Jan. 23

9:30 a.m., 2100 SW Loop 410, San Antonio

A woman was arrested for burglary of a vehicle in Boerne. The burglary had occurred in December.

7:53 p.m., 1300 S. Main

Police conducted a K-9 sniff of a vehicle and arrested the vehicle’s passenger for possession of a controlled substance.

THURSDAY, Jan. 24

2:07 p.m., 100 E. Blanco

A woman was arrested for driving with an invalid license.

3:12 p.m., 200 N. Main

A traffic stop for speeding in a school zone resulted in the driver being arrested for possession of marijuana.

9:01 p.m., 100 Yoalana

Police and Boerne firefighters extinguished a residential garage that was engulfed in flames. Propane tanks and ammunition that were stored in the garage exploded but no one was injured.

A man was arrested for driving with an invalid license.

2:37 p.m., 1400 E. Blanco

A man was arrested for driving with an invalid license.

SUNDAY, Jan. 27

Police stopped a vehicle for speeding and cited the male driver for driving with an open container and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Neighbors reported that a memorial for Koko the deer had been vandalized.

MONDAY, Jan. 21

6:01 p.m., 8000 Fair Oaks Parkway

Police stopped a vehicle for a defective taillight and cited the driver for driving without insurance. The driver was then arrested on two Kendall County warrants for theft by check.

WEDNESDAY, Jan 23

5:25 p.m., 8500 Rolling Acres

A man was arrested on a warrant for Class-B misdemeanor theft.

THURSDAY, Jan. 24

9:40 a.m., 9000 Jodhpur

A man cut his arm with a circular saw. Fellow workers had tied off the arm with a tourniquet and the man was taken to a hospital for treatment.

4:12 p.m., Hwy 46, Bulverde

Fair Oaks Ranch police assisted Bulverde police in searching a car that police has stopped after the driver had reportedly pointed a gun at another driver. Police found a double-barrel, sawed-off shotgun in the car.
