Stephanie Lamprea of Leon Springs recently placed in the Texas All State Choir for the second year in a row. She will be performing with the choir Feb. 13 through 16 at the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) convention in downtown San Antonio. The Texas All State Choir represents the top 1 percent of all singers in the state, chosen from a rigorous audition process that begins with about 12,000 students. Lamprea, the daughter of Hugo and Maria Lamprea, is a junior at TMI – The Episcopal School of Texas, where she is a member of the Corps of Cadets. Courtesy photo
