Sunday, Jan. 27

9:46 a.m. , 100 Woodland Ranch Road - Mailboxes were reported damaged.

11:09 p.m., 31100 West Interstate 10 - A 911 caller asked for help when two subjects not allowed in a bar showed up.

Monday, Jan. 28

2:14 a.m., 200 block Main Street, Comfort - A sleep-deprived auto buff said an older model Grand Marquis (Mercury) with loud mufflers had been driving slowly for the past two hours on Main Street, or it might be a Grand Prix (Pontiac). A deputy was unable to locate the vintage vehicle.

9:43 a.m., Kendall County Courthouse - A deputy visiting the courthouse recognized a man for whom a warrant had been issued and arrested him.

4:27 p.m., U.S. 87 and Interstate 10, Comfort - Callers reported a two-vehicle collision with serious injuries. One person was airlifted to a hospital and U.S. 87 was closed to traffic for a short time.

6:42 p.m., FM473, Kendalia - A man called 911 to report that a thief took his bottle of Scotch. The caller then told dispatchers he knows who it was.

Tuesday, Jan. 29

4:59 p.m., 800 E. Texas 46 - A 911 caller said a bearded motorist got out of his vehicle and slashed three tires of the caller’s vehicle with a screwdriver.

Thursday, Jan. 31

9:50 p.m., Interstate 10 and Texas 46 - Deputies received credible information from an undercover source that two suspects would be coming into Boerne from San Antonio to sell LSD and marijuana. Deputies conducted a traffic stop and when they approached the suspects’ vehicle, detected a strong odor of marijuana. Boerne PD canine unit assisted. Further inspection revealed 300 doses of LSD and two large bags of hydro marijuana. Street value of the drugs was placed at $7,380. Deputies arrested Brandon Stowe of San Antonio for possession with intent to deliver. Stowe also had $1,100 cash in his pocket. The investigation continued to the suspect’s residence, where three pounds hydro marijuana and a large amount of LSD were recovered. “This case began as a result of a Crimestoppers tip and determined investigative skills led to the arrest,” said Sheriff Roger Duncan.

Bond was set at $2,000 for the possession of marijuana and $25,000 for possession of LSD.

Sunday, Jan. 27

9:20 a.m., 300 Ammann - A pickup truck was found to be vandalized.

4:36 p.m., 8400 Raintree Woods - A resident reported seeing a deer with an orange arrow protruding from its chest. Police advised that since the deer is walking and eating, there is nothing they can do.

Tuesday, Jan. 29

6:28 p.m., 29200 Ralph Fair - Police stopped a vehicle matching the description of a vehicle involved in a Bergheim crime. The driver admitted to puncturing three tires on another man’s car because he believed the man to be drunk and dangerous on the road. Kendall County officers took the case from there.

Wednesday, Jan. 30

2:51 p.m., 72000 Dietz Elkhorn - Police stopped a vehicle for speeding. The driver said his father, who was riding in the car, was having chest pains. Police then called EMS but the father refused transportation to a hospital. The officer then ticketed the driver for speeding and for driving without a license.

Friday, Feb. 1

10:39 p.m., 29000 Ralph Fair - Letters on a school marquee had been re-arranged to spell an obscene message. Police removed the letters from the marquee.

Boerne

Tuesday, Feb. 29

12:11 a.m., 200 N. Main - Police stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation and issued a passenger a summons for consumption of alcohol by a minor.

3:23 p.m., 31500 W. Interstate 10 - Police arrested a male driver on a Bexar County warrant for nonpayment of child support.

10:18 p.m., Bluebonnet/ Interstate 10 - Police arrested a man on a Fort Bend County warrant for assault charges.

10:27 p.m., River/ Pecan - A man was arrested for possession of marijuana (less than two ounces).
