Special to the View Law enforcement agencies across Texas will combine forces to actively search for people with outstanding arrest warrants, the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office announced. “Other areas around the state are issuing news releases to present a united front and encourage violators to pay fines now,” said Matthew L. King, chief deputy. The initiative will take place between Feb. 16 and Feb. 24. Those with active warrants of arrest are being warned that they should resolve their outstanding judicial orders immediately. “Failure to resolve these issues could subject a person to be arrested, in their home, place of business or wherever the law enforcement officers find them,” stated Kendall County Sheriff Roger Duncan. “We suggest that these persons act immediately and avoid going to jail.”
