The Alamo Heights High School girl’s soccer team split two home games last week, falling to Dripping Springs, 4-1, on Feb. 12, and rolled over winless Bandera by an 8-0 margin Friday. Senior forward Aubrey Meyer notched the Mules’ only goal against the Lady Tigers in the first game. Six Mules scored against Bandera, led by two goals apiece from senior captain Kate Goudge and junior midfielder Rachel Donnelly. Seniors Kate Emery, Cece Fasanella, Aubrey Meyer and Torrey Vaughan added goals in the rout. The victory gave the Mules a 4-4-1 record, good for fifth place in District 27-4A play. Overall, the Mules stand at 6-5-1 for the season. The Mules face the district-leading Lady Unicorns of New Braunfels at 5 p.m. Friday at Orem Stadium, while the varsity boys play at 7 p.m. The girls host Fredericksburg at home Feb. 26 as the second round of district play advances.
