The Boerne Greyhound men’s aquatic team made school history by capturing two bronze medals and finishing sixth overall at Saturday’s Class 4A State Championship finals in Austin.

Miles Zander, Ryan Vinall, Matt Roumelis and Paul Bove teamed up for a bronze medal finish in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:38.90. Vinall also captured the individual bronze in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 59.97. Bove finished fifth in the 50-yard freestyle and seventh in the 100-yard freestyle. Zander took fifth place in the 100-yard backstroke. Amanda Mintz just missed a medal for the Boerne girls with a fourth-place finish in the one-meter dive.
