Feb. 17: 1900 block of FM 1103, police responded to a criminal mischief report. — 100 block of Cirrus Cove, police responded to a family disturbance. — 100 block of Buffalo Trail, a vehicle burglary was reported. Converse Feb. 17: 8900 block of FM 78, a traffic stop resulted in charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and open container-alcohol against the driver. Feb. 15: 100 block of Meadow Hill, a woman reported the theft of items from her vehicle, including a digital camera, six credit/charge cards, a bottle of perfume and a purse; total value of goods estimated at $310. Feb. 14: 8300 block of Crestway, police responded to assist in a call about an individual pulling a shotgun on a resident in a neighboring apartment complex. Converse police arrived; suspects were located and detained for Bexar County sheriff deputies. — 300 block of Avenue E, a woman called about suspicious activity by her husband. He had made a pile of dirt and leaves in the back yard, which she considered suspicious, due to her concern that the pile might resemble a grave site. Feb. 11: 8300 block of FM 78, a vehicle was burglarized in a parking lot. — Station/School streets, a motorist was charged with open container-possession of alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle. The remainder of 1.75 liters of Canadian whiskey was poured out. Live Oak Feb. 15: 13600 block of I-35, a storage unit was reported burglarized. Items stolen include a Bosch drill ($260), Makita skill saw ($150), Thompson air compressor ($300) and Delta miter box ($150). Feb. 14: 13500 block of I-35, a woman reported a person posing as a law enforcement official attempted to pull her over; after she eventually stopped, the vehicle’s driver, having activated a row of emergency lights, “flipped her off” and sped away. She was able to record the black Crown Victoria’s license plate number and officials are continuing their investigation. Feb. 13: 8000 block of Agora Parkway, a male was arrested for simple assault and criminal mischief-misdemeanor after he broke the side mirror off the vehicle his beau was driving, all the result of a lover’s quarrel. — 7100 block of Rimwood, a home was burglarized and a list of missing items was assembled. Feb. 12: 10800 block of O’Connor Road, an officer attempted to ticket a driver with an expired registration sticker. The suspect stopped but bolted from the car. The officer injured his knee in giving chase, subsequently calling for additional officers. The suspect, last seen running through the Amberton Apartment parking lot, was not located. The vehicle has been impounded. Feb. 10: 500 block of Shin Oak Drive, a man was arrested for assaulting his wife while they were driving to breakfast after a night out celebrating their anniversary. Schertz Feb. 20: 5200 block of Brookline, a resident said someone caused damage to his backyard fence. — 1000 block of FM 78, a theft of beer was reported at a convenience store. Feb. 19: 600 block of Schertz Parkway, a public works employee said someone kicked out several fence slats and sprayed graffiti on parts of the playscape area. Feb. 18: 3300 block of FM 3009, a woman said she drove her vehicle past another motorist on Green Valley Road en route to a retail store on 3009. The woman went into the store and then exited only to realize that the motorist she had just passed on Green Valley followed all the way. The woman then was caught in a physical struggle with that other motorist, also female, who shouted obscenities. Feb. 17: 500 block of Aviation Avenue, police responded to an assault report. — 17400 block of I-35, officers responded to a theft of several items from a grocery store. Feb. 15: 6100 block of FM 3009, a theft of a computer monitor was reported at a retail store. Selma Feb. 5: 14000 block of I-35, a motorist was pulled over and taken to a hospital after other motorists had spotted him driving erratically. — 7900 block of Saratoga Knoll, a theft was reported. — 7900 block of Pat Booker Road, two Selma police cars were involved in an accident. — 14000 block of I-35, a motorist was pulled over for a defective license plate lamp. Police searched the vehicle and found a burnt marijuana cigarette on the back floorboard. Then a background search on the female passenger revealed she had pain killers, but had no prescription. She was arrested for possession of dangerous drugs. Feb. 4: 15000 block of I-35, a motorist was pulled over for speeding. He and his passenger were arrested on active warrants. Universal City Feb. 17: A suspect stopped for traffic offenses was found to be intoxicated and was charged with DWI-third offense or more. — 409 West Lindbergh, police responded to a reported hit and run. Feb. 15: 100 block of West Aviation Boulevard, a male was arrested for DWI. — 2900 block of Pat Booker, officers took information about the burglary of a vehicle. Feb. 14: 200 Park Lane, police investigating a suspicious vehicle found evidence of a hit and run, but the vehicle had been abandoned. — 9400 block of Gibbs-Sprawl, a traffic violator was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. — 3100 block of Pat Booker, officers responded to a major accident. A vehicle was impounded as a result. A resident was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. — 600 block of Pat Booker, a traffic stop for speeding yielded an arrest for an outstanding warrant and possession of drug paraphernalia. — 200 block of West Lindbergh, a driver was arrested for DUI-minor and outstanding warrants. — 400 block of West Wright Boulevard, an officer took information about a theft ($1,500-$20,000). — 3100 block of Pat Booker, a motorist reported being a victim of a hit and run. — 200 block of Park Lane, officers responding to a disturbance arrested a female for public intoxication, outstanding warrants, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest/search. — 100 block of Cedar Oak, a driver was arrested for DWI. Feb. 17: 7700 block of I-35, volunteer firefighters responded to a small grass fire near a flea market. Feb. 15: 8600 block of Fourwinds Drive, a motorist pulled over for speeding was arrested for active warrants regarding having an unrestrained child in a car and for theft of service. Feb. 14: 5000 block of Walzem Road, a woman was arrested for public intoxication in a business strip center.
