Texas Wildlife Association Foundation and San Antonio Livestock Exposition, announce the opportunity for one deserving area teacher to be recognized for their contributions and a $2,500 award for their school.

The $2,500 school “scholarship” will be awarded to the school in recognition of the winning teacher’s use of innovative techniques and curricula to promote natural resource literacy among their students.

Any teacher from Atascosa, Bandera, Bexar, Comal, Frio, Gillespie, Gonzales, Guadalupe, Kendall, Kerr, Medina, Real, Uvalde, Wilson, or Zavala counties teaching in an accredited K-12 school is eligible.

Applicants must complete an application that is available through the Texas Wildlife Association. Applications are due by April 1.
