Time marches on with plans for spring fun and games. 

Pals are planning a spring Easter egg hunt for the monthly Senior Night Out on March l5. Even though this event is referred to as being held at night, it actually occurs in the afternoon from 2 until 5 p.m. 

Whatever time it is, we know that the Pals group has been interested in making each monthly social a special time for the seniors. We appreciate all that they do in preparing for these Senior Night Out events. So, if you are interested, sign up soon.

The spring pancake breakfast, sponsored by the board, is Saturday from 8 to 11 a.m.  Nelda Martinez is leading this popular event. There will be all the pancakes you can eat, served with ham or sausage, juice, coffee and fruit for $5 adult and $3 children.

Pedernales Electric CoOp will be presenting a program on conservation and safety after the Monday games and pot luck on March l7. This will be most informative and a subject that we all need to know more about, so do come.

The BSC will be closed on March 21 for Good Friday.

Chili cook-off! So you’ve received rave reviews about the spicy, eye-watering chili that you make!  Now you will get the chance to enter your chili in the cook off for members on March 29 from 2 until 6 p.m.

There will be prizes for first, second and third. There will also be plenty of snacks.   Win or loose, it is a time to enjoy.

Need help with your income tax. Howard Goings will be in the craft room on Wednesdays to offer assistance from noon to 2 p.m. until April 9. 

No appointments are necessary, just show up and wait your turn. Items you need to bring are listed on a flyer on front table.

The annual membership dues for 2008 are $15, payable until December. See Mary at the table set up for this purpose. Because we are updating our records, we need all members to complete a membership form to be turned in with the dues.  Thanks for your co-operation in this matter.

As we continue to remind you that the BSC facility can be rented for family reunions, showers, anniversaries, parties, and meetings. Tell your family and friends.
