Kendall County

Saturday, March 1

11:04 p.m., 200 block Thomas Road, Bergheim - A caller reported teens driving erratically on private property. A responding deputy observed one white truck that had been involved in a collision. A female teen advised the deputy of a party for minors in the location and directed him to the area. Eight youths received minor in consumption citations.

Sunday, March 2

7:42 p.m., River Ranch/Smokey River - A caller said he was one of four people stranded in a boat on the Guadalupe River without a flashlight and needing rescue. Four officers searched the river and firefighters also responded. The foursome was located at 8:27 p.m.

Monday, March 3

7:23 p.m., 200 block Majestic Oaks - A caller said there was a verbal dispute between a couple. While a female was talking to dispatchers, the phone connection was terminated. A male at the residence accused his live-in love of flirting with the exterminator while the woman stated that her significant other had been receiving phone calls from his wife.

Tuesday, March 4

10:07 p.m. Texas 46 - Deputies were dispatched to State Highway 46 East to assist Bulverde Police Department with a vehicle pursuit that was about to enter Kendall County.

The suspect vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed with a Bulverde police officer in pursuit when Kendall County units joined in the pursuit.

Tire deflation devices were deployed successfully on the fleeing vehicles left front tire on Highway 46 in front of the Kendall County Fairgrounds.

The pursuit continued west on River road and then south on Main Street until the vehicle tuned left into the Hill Country Square Shopping Center parking lot and stopped. The suspect was arrested and transported back to Bulverde by a Bulverde police officer.

There were no injuries to any individuals nor damage to any vehicles.

Monday, March 3

4:24 p.m., 1300 S. Main – A juvenile male was cited for driving without a license and minor possession of tobacco.

5:40 p.m., 100 Creekside – A man was arrested on a Kendall County warrant for theft.

Tuesday, March 4

8:36 p.m., 100 Richter – Police assisted EMS with a female who had ingested an overdose of Zoloft.

4:00 p.m., 100 W. Blanco – Jewelry, a laptop computer and some wine were reported stolen from a hotel.

6:48 p.m., 100 Norris – A man was arrested for driving with an invalid license.

11:26 p.m., 543mm Interstate 10 – A driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated

Wednesday, March 5

6:48 a.m., 100 E. Bandera – A man was arrested on warrants for harassment and for violating a protective order.

12:01 p.m., 1300 River – A man was stopped for speeding and was arrested for an Atascosa County warrant for contempt of court, child support charges.

5:24 p.m., 1300 S. Main – A laptop computer was reported stolen from a vehicle.

Thursday, March 6

9:02 p.m., 100 Staffel – Two male subjects were spotted trying to steal liquor from a restaurant. The suspects fled on bicycles, leaving their loot behind. Police lost the suspects in a residential neighborhood but collected one of the getaway bicycles left behind and are holding it as evidence.

11:31 p.m., 500 Graham – A man assaulted his brother and was arrested for assault, family violence.

Friday, March 7

7:37 a.m., 400 W. Bandera – A driverless dump truck rolled across a street, crushing one car and damaging another.

9:45 p.m., 1300 S. Main – A man was arrested for possession of marijuana.

Saturday, March 8

2:39 a.m., 400 W. Bandera – Police were called to control rowdy, intoxicated customers at a bar and arrested one man on a warrant for speeding and running a stop sign.

Sunday, March 9

4:35 p.m., Main/ Rosewood – A woman was arrested for unauthorized use of a vehicle and possession of marijuana.

5:25 p.m., 600 W. Bandera – An intoxicated man was arrested for his own safety and later charged with public intoxication and failure to identify.

5:59 p.m., 545mm Interstate 10 – Police stopped a suspicious vehicle and cited the male driver for driving with an open container of beer. The female passenger was charged with possession of marijuana.

Fair Oaks Ranch

Monday, March 3

5:55 p.m., 7700 Keeneland – Police helped a resident to capture a pet iguana and return it to its aquarium.

9:55 p.m., 8600 Fairway Green – Police helped Air Life to transport a juvenile male to a hospital. The boy had been found unconscious on a golf course and awakened in an incoherent, combative state.

Wednesday, March 5

4:58p.m., 8900 Jodhpur – Police and Leon Springs fire fighters extinguished a small grass fire that had started when a construction crew working nearby accidentally ignited dry brush by sparks from cutting metal pipes.

Thursday, March 6

6:56 a.m., 8500 Fair Oaks -– A man was arrested on a Bexar County warrant for assault.

Friday, March 7

11:11 p.m., 9000 Fair Oaks – Police arrested a man for aggravated assault. Witnesses said the suspect struck the victim in the face with a been bottle after a dispute over a billiards game. Medical workers treated the victim for a facial laceration.

Sunday, March 9

8:21 a.m., 7900 Fair Oaks – A country club employee reported finding several teenagers sleeping on the country club grounds, including one identified as the daughter of a club member. Further inspection revealed extensive theft and vandalism inside club facilities. An opened beer keg was found along with opened liquor bottles and scattered beer cups. The incident is being investigated as a burglary, which is a felony.
