Cibolo

Feb. 28: 1300 block of FM 1103, a car accident was reported.

Feb. 27: 100 block of Whitney Way, officers responded to a family disturbance.

Feb. 26: 100 block of Brook View, a car accident was reported.

— 200 block of FM 78, a motorist was detained for driving with an invalid license.

- 4300 block of Cibolo Valley Drive, a car accident was reported.

Feb. 25: 600 block of FM 78, a car accident was reported.

— 200 block of Rosegate, police responded to a criminal mischief report.

Converse

March 4: 7200 block of Miller Road, a traffic stop yielded a small amount of marijuana. The driver was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.

March 3: 8300 block of FM 78, a 17-year-old was arrested for theft $50-$500. Stolen items included a $178 cellphone and assorted candy.

March 1: 700 block of South Seguin Street, someone vandalized/damaged a car wash, destroying a photo cell inside the automatic car wash ($500), and a T-handle bracket ($1,000).

— 8300 block of FM 78, a woman was arrested for leaving three children, ages 2, 3 and 12, unattended in a vehicle while she went shopping.

Feb. 29: 8800 block of Slumber Street, a traffic stop turned into a chase when the female driver failed to stop and fled the officer. The vehicle finally stopped and the driver was arrested for evading arrest/ detention; a male at the residence where the driver stopped was arrested for three outstanding Converse warrants.

Garden Ridge

Police recorded 14 offenses, 13 incidents, 30 warnings, seven citations, one accident, one arrest, one towed vehicle, five calls to assist another agency, 10 alarms and one animal call during the week.

Live Oak

Feb. 23: 7500-7700 blocks of Avery Road, three vehicles parked in the roadway in front of three residences were hit with eggs.

Feb. 22: 200 block of Lost Forest, a man told officers someone stole his truck and when he ran outside to try to stop the driver from taking the truck, the driver ran over him. The vehicle was recovered seven hours later, in the 7200 block of Miller Road.

— 1400 block of I-35, a woman reported her car was sideswiped by a gold sports car. The complainant’s car suffered rear-left quarter panel damage and a taillight was broken. She said the sports car had evident damage to its right side.

Feb. 18: 12500 block of Judson Road, a motorist struck a deer in the roadway, causing damage to the vehicle’s front right bumper and headlight and killing the deer.

Schertz

Feb. 26: 1400 block of Schertz Parkway, a woman talked with police about a fraud/identity theft report.

Feb. 25: 18700 block of I-35, police responded to a theft report.

— 700 block of Schertz Parkway, officers responded to a burglary alarm and discovered broken window glass at a convenience store.

— 2900 block of Lotus Park, a resident said someone stole a recycling bin from her front yard.

Feb. 24: 200 block of Meadow View, police talked to a woman about a case of phone harassment.

Selma

March 2: 15700 block of Brightleaf Drive, a woman complained that a loose Pit Bull attacked her and her dog while they were walking.

— 17100 block of Jordan Road, the owner of a carpet cleaning service said he thinks an employee may have pocketed money charged for a specific service.

— 16000 block of I-35, a motorist was detained for displaying an expired registration sticker.

March 1: 8300 block of Agora Parkway, a theft was reported at an apparel store.

— 14000 block of I-35, a motorist pulled over for displaying an expired license plate was arrested for a Selma warrant.

Universal City

March 2: 13000 block of Loop 1604, officers responded to a major accident and arrested a subject for driving while intoxicated and open container.

— 11000 block of Loop 1604, the burglary of an apartment was reported.

— 2900 block of Buckingham Village, a family disturbance involved an intoxicated woman trying to drive away, with her husband trying to stop her. Police made an arrest for assault causing bodily injury-family violence.

March 1: 900 block of Pat Booker, a traffic stop resulted in the arrest of a motorist for outstanding warrants, possession of a controlled substance of more than 28 grams and possession of dangerous drugs. A passenger was also arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Feb. 29: Police headquarters, officers took a sexual assault-child report.

— 500 block of North Boulevard, a female was arrested for public intoxication.

Windcrest

Feb. 25: 8500 block of Fourwinds Drive, someone stole a television set from an electronics store.

Feb. 24: 8800 block of Willmon Way, a man who became angry while trying to enter a crime scene was detained for assaulting a public servant and resisting arrest.

Feb. 23: 4900 block of Walzem, officers responded to a vehicular hit and run.

Feb. 22: Willmon Way, Crosswind Drive and Melody Lane, graffiti was found sprayed on several power poles.
