The Southside Independent School District is holding a mental health and wellness event for the Southside community March 29, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Many local health and wellness agencies will be at Southside High School commons area to share information about the services they provide.

District choirs, bands, cheerleaders and singers will be entertaining guests and community. There will also be a health walk from 9 to 10 a.m., supported by Southside ISD’s athletic department and Red McCombs PIE.

The first 150 participants will get a free T-shirt. There will also be free food, gifts and other entertainment during the event.

Southside High School is located at 1460 Martinez Losoya Road, off of U.S. Interstate 281 South. Call 882-1606.
