San Antonio’s Wellness Center will host V.R. Karuparthy, assistant professor of anesthesia at The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. He will present, “Chronic Pain Management: An Integrative Educational Seminar.” The program is open to the public and health care professionals. Blessed Sacrament Academy is offering a parenting program called “Precious Minds, New Connections” starting today. The program is free to expectant parents and parents who have a child in their home from birth to age three. Grandparents and other adults helping to raise the child are welcome to attend. The program meets on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, for a total of 10 sessions from today through April 23. Our Lady of Czestochowa Shrine and the Seraphic Sisters is having its annual Divine Mercy Sunday celebration at Our Lady of Czestochowa Shrine, 138 Beethoven (off Rigsby Avenue) March 30. It begins at 3 p.m. There will be an exposition of the eucharist followed by the chaplet to the divine mercy and procession. Mass will be at 4 p.m. Blessing afterward with the relic of St. Faustina.
