The officer then noticed the driver wasn’t wearing pants and had urinated on himself. While fumbling around for his license and registration, he repeatedly told the officer he was very drunk. The officer had him get out of the car, and as the officer tried to help him steady himself, the driver began to struggle and was eventually put in handcuffs. The driver refused a sobriety test and was arrested and his car impounded and towed. The driver began to get aggressive at the Alamo Heights Police Station and was placed in a holding cell. He once again refused a sobriety test and was taken downtown for booking.
