Fair Oaks Ranch Monday, March 17 12:01 a.m., multiple addresses – Residents reported unknown persons ringing their doorbells and fleeing. Wednesday, March 19 5:53 p.m., 30900 Ralph Fair – A man was arrested for driving while intoxicated. Monday, March 24 2:42 p.m., 7900 Keeneland – Police investigated a damaged fire hydrant. A witness described the vehicle and driver to police. Police found a vehicle with a matching description and damages that correspond to hitting a fire hydrant and have filed an accident report. Boerne Sunday, March 23 10:35 a.m., 600 N. Main – A woman reported having $500 stolen from her purse while she was at work. Monday, March 24 12:24 p.m., 300 Deer Creek – A man’s wallet was stolen from his truck. He said he had left the doors unlocked and the wallet on the console. An unknown person has used the man’s stolen debit card several times in San Antonio after the burglary. 2:51 p.m., 900 N. Main – Police investigated several juveniles who were fighting and filming the incident. The youths said they were filming for an independent film. 6:26 p.m., 31700 Interstate 10 – A construction contractor reported a theft of copper from a job site. Tuesday, March 25 4:21 p.m., 1200 S. Main – A mysterious, slippery substance, possibly cooking grease, was spilled onto the northbound lanes of South Main, resulting in several collisions. Police re-directed northbound traffic while TXDoT, Boerne Public Works and Boerne Fire Department workers cleaned the spill. Boerne Fire Chief Doug Meckel estimates that 20 gallons of the substance were spilled and the cleanup operation took about two and one-half hours before traffic on Main could resume. 8:24 p.m., 100 City Park – Police arrested a woman for possession of a controlled substance. Thursday, March 27 8:14 p.m., 400 W. San Antonio – Two solicitors were warned of Boerne’s solicitation permit ordinance. Friday, March 28 4:55 a.m., 200 N. Main and 1400 S. Main – Two liquor stores were discovered to have broken windows and several bottles were stolen from one of the stores. A man was spotted nearby with cuts on his arm. The subject was arrested for public intoxication and burglary. Police are still investigating the vandalism and burglary of the stores. 6:32 p.m., 200 Ivy – A man was arrested on a Kendall County warrant for burglary of a building. Saturday, March 29 12:06 a.m., 700 River – A man was treated for self-inflicted wounds to his wrist and transferred to a hospital. Sunday, March 30 3:33 p.m., 31800 Interstate 10 – A man was arrested for driving with an invalid license. 11:47 p.m., 300 S. Main – Police conducted a traffic stop and arrested a female passenger on a Hale County warrant for theft by check. Kendall County Saturday, March 15 11:16 p.m., 540MM Interstate 10 West - After a 911 caller said an 18-wheeler was swerving all over the interstate, a fatigued trucker agreed to pull in at the next rest area. Tuesday, March 18 9:47 p.m., High Street, Comfort - A female renting a room from a male landlord hit him in the head after he walked into her bedroom while she was disrobing. She called deputies a second time after the man threatened her in response to her earlier call to law enforcement. 10:30 p.m., 100 River Trail - A caller stated that in preparation for a court appearance the next day, two minors and one adult were having a party. The two minors were cited for minor in consumption and the adult for public intoxication. Wednesday, March 19 9:21 p.m., 523 MM Interstate 10 East - A small car was reported to be swerving over the roadway. The female driver passed a field sobriety test and was escorted to the Bexar County line. Thursday, March 20 2:06 a.m., 524MM Interstate 10 East - A deputy investigating a car parked on the shoulder of the interstate found the female driver passed out. Marijuana was discovered in the vehicle and the driver was arrested. Saturday, March 22 3:57 a.m., 200 Skyview - A 911 caller reported prowlers on the property, but responding deputies found nothing amiss.
