Southside Independent School District’s annual wellness extravaganza keeps getting bigger and better.

This year, Southside ISD’s School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) kicked off the annual fair with a health walk. A large crowd of community members joined the walk, including children, parents, district staff, volunteers and board members.

Southside ISD Superintendent Juan Antonio Jasso also participated in the health walk, along with State Rep. Joe Farias.

After the walk, community members went into Southside High School’s commons area to visit with 70 exhibitors offering free resources to the community.
