The Women Empowered (WE) Conference is a free one-day motivational conference for women who are considering a return to school and would like more information about careers and enhancing leadership skills.

Participants may apply for scholarships to attend San Antonio College in Fall 2008. Applications are due by April 24.

The four conference tracks are:

• Career exploration (identify career interests and pursue satisfying jobs)

• Personal career enhancement (seek growth and maximize personal strength)

• Leadership development (enhance leadership abilities to get ahead at work and school)

• A track in Spanish about strategies for attending college and balancing career and family.

In addition, there will be a conversation about healthy choices and empowerment for women in both English and Spanish.
