Willie C. Velasquez Learning and Leadership Development Center is helping retirees, disabled veterans and low-wage workers file tax returns. The center will have free tax preparation services from 1 to 3 p.m. Everyone must file a tax return in order to receive a government stimulus payment of approximately $300. The Willie C. Dixie Flag Manufacturing Co. is celebrating its 50-year anniversary, from noon to 7:30 p.m. The company will have tours of the business and a festival with live music, celebrities, as well as food and drink. Alcohol Chemical Treatment Series (ACTS) has a class meeting every Thursday, from 7 to 8 p.m., and a support group meeting afterward from 8 to 9 p.m. ACTS is a support program to enable people who want to maintain a drug-free lifestyle.
