Romo
Homes for Pets

Romo is an 8-month-old medium-haired handsome boy! He has been bottle-fed since birth, so he’s extremely loving and used to being held and petted. His rescuers’ young son has severe cat allergies, and cannot keep him. We’ve given him all vaccinations, had him dewormed and neutered, and tested for feline leukemia/FIV. Fee: $75. We have an urgent need for temporary kitten foster homes this spring and summer. Bottle feeders, someone who can just take in a young litter, or a mama cat and her babies would help. Contacts: homesforpets.org or 566-7776.

Retreat
Schertz Animal Services

Retreat is a 2-year-old Lab mix (we think with Pointer) who loves to be with people. Retreat loves to play outside in the yard and would be well suited for a life as a part-time house dog. He has personality that has to be seen in person. Retreat is being treated for heartworms and is en route to full recovery. Contacts: 619-1550 or schertz.petfinder.com. Bring paper, aluminum cans and empty toner cartridges to recycle to benefit our furry friends.
