As everyone knows, Fiesta is 10 days of non-stop adventure. This year, I met many new best friends and partied like a rock star with Fiesta royalty. Needless to say, after Fiesta, I'm gonna siesta!

(Right) Margie Rust (left) and Clifton McNeel (right) held a party to commemorate the 1963 Court of Beauty. Joe Carroll Williams (center) served as Margie's escort that year. 
(Left) Battle of Flowers Association members Renee Sethness, Rhonda Calvert and Joan Hinchey became my newest best friends during the parade. (Right) Mila and her father, Fiesta Flambeau Association President Michael Flores, enjoyed brunch at the Alamo along with the Battle of Flowers Association.

(Left) Annabell and George Ames at The Court of 1963 reunion luncheon. Annabell is the only woman to serve as Fiesta Queen two years in a row when that the Queen of 1964 became ill. George Ames served as her prime minister and, eventually, her devoted husband. (Right) While lunching with Lynn Huntress (left) and the court of 1963, the Court of 1940 (that's right--1940!) was having a reunion. Dorothy Steves Hindman (right) served as the Princess of the Court of the Old South that year.

(Right) Battle of Flowers Association board members Amanda Macdaniel, Rhonda Calvert, Melissa Vaughan, Alison Boone, Susan Lane, Sally Haas and Jeannie Wehmeyer greeted guests at the annual Battle of Flowers Fiesta luncheon.
