The Metrocom area gets fired up over its Fourth of July events, and this weekend proved no exception.
Brilliant colors illuminate the July 4 sky above Randolph Air Force Base. Thousands showed up for the base’s fireworks display, visible for miles in the Metrocom. Brief holiday showers did not dampen the Metrocom’s Independence Day spirit. 
With hats held over their hearts, a singing group sounds out a patriotic number prior to July 4 festivities in Garden Ridge.
