The Randolph Metrocom Chamber of Commerce has had an amazing run of lunch speakers. David Green, CEO of the San Antonio Symphony, did a great job this month (July 8) of enlightening us on the many programs that the symphony offers and the number of times that they are actually in the Metrocom. We are fortunate to have such an organization in our area. Please watch our Web site and mailings for more information on their programs. It is still July, but it’s not too early to start thinking about Taste of the Metrocom! This is an event that has experienced tremendous growth over the years, and local restaurants are already asking for information on how to become involved this year. Anyone interested in volunteering or who just wants to have their favorite restaurant participate should leave a message at the chamber offices (658-8322). Taste of the Metrocom is slated for Oct. 1. The software we have for e-mailing has really helped us stay in touch with our membership on a weekly basis. I just want to make sure that if you are a member that you are getting regular e-mails from the chamber and that we are not missing anyone. If you are a member and are not getting the Metrocom Milestone, Lunch and Learn invites, and Event and Special Event notices, please e-mail the chamber at
