Cibolo

July 17: 200 block of Laceleaf Lane and 100 block of Rhea Street, police responded to reports of people receiving harassing phone calls.

— 200 block of Hanna Lane and 100 block of Ranch House Road, officers responded to calls of reported thefts.

July 19: 300 block of Deer Creek Boulevard, a woman told police she was driving past the drainage ditch on Deer Creek Boulevard when someone threw a cheeseburger at her vehicle. The woman said she got out of the vehicle and heard several individuals running into a wooded area, but she was unable to get a description of the suspects. An officer saw the remains of the cheeseburger on the front right door, windshield and street. There was no visible damage to the vehicle. Police said the woman did not plan to file charges but reported the incident in case her car was damaged.

Converse

July 5: 9700 block of Copperway, someone slit two tires on a parked car.

July 4: 800 block of Meadow Stone, two men were cited for setting off fireworks.

July 3: 700 block of South Seguin. Someone burglarized a car wash’s coin collection machines.

— 9300 block of Easyoak Creek, someone stole a refrigerator and stove.

July 2: 8300 block of FM 78, police obtained information from a customer who couldn’t pay for $31 of gasoline she’d already pumped into her vehicle.

— 8300 block of FM 78, someone pumped $62.39 worth of gas and left without paying for it.

July 1: 8900 block of Nature Trail, a vehicle stuck and damages a house.

— 7400 block of FM78, a truck slid off the road and struck a business’ fence. Officers issued a citation to the truck’s driver.

— 8300 block of FM 78, police were dispatched for the theft of more than $700 worth of goods. A videotape caught the subject stealing from the store and leaving in his vehicle.

Garden Ridge

Police reported 13 offenses, 18 incidents, two residential alarms, five arrests, two accidents, 34 warnings and 35 citations for one week.

Kirby

July 8: 5500 block of FM 78, a business was burglarized.

July 7: 5000 block of FM 78, a motorist was arrested for DWI.

July 4: 4800 block of Borchers, a subject was arrested for possession of marijuana, attempted escape and criminal mischief-damage to a police car.

— 4800 block of Featherock, a vehicle was taken and not returned.

July 3: 5400 block of Pageland, a house was broken into.

July 1: 5100 block of Starfire, subjects were cited for fighting.

Live Oak

July 5: 7200 block of Rimwood, an ex-boyfriend was waiting for his ex to arrive at her home. When she did, he forced his way into her house and started pummeling her with punch after punch. He fled the scene in a green F-150 pickup. Injuries were to her jaw, left eye, forehead and upper arm.

— 12000 block of Arms Way, someone entered a residence and stole goods totaling between $50 and $500.

July 4: 15000 block of Interstate 35, a motorist was charged with driving while intoxicated-second offense.

July 3: 10800 block of O’Connor Road, a speeding vehicle was pulled over. Three occupants all ended up being charged: the driver, with driving while license revoked, speeding, no driver’s license and possession of drug paraphernalia; a female passenger, for possession of drug paraphernalia; and a backseat male passenger, for three outstanding warrants.

July 2: 7900 block of Pat Booker Road, someone stole credit cards from a woman’s purse.

Selma

July 10: 200 block of Galloping Oak, police were called out to a reported family disturbance in which a woman allegedly assaulted her husband, police said. The woman was arrested by officers.

July 14: 8300 block of Agora Parkway, police were called to the parking lot of Freddy’s Frozen Custard for a reported burglary of a vehicle. The owner of a red Suburban told police a TV and laptop were missing from his vehicle. Case is still under investigation.

July 15: 16000 block of I-35 north, an officer spotted and stopped a vehicle of Seguin man with an expired registration. Police said the officer initiated a search of the vehicle after spotting marijuana residue. During the search, the officer found marijuana and a marijuana pipe. The officer issued citations to the man for expired registration and drug paraphernalia, police said. The man has a future court date in Selma municipal court for the citations he was issued.

July 16: 15000 block of I-35 north, officers responded to a reported theft at Academy Sports and Outdoors store. Two suspects and a vehicle were identified by eyewitnesses.

Schertz

July 11: 17600 block of Four Oaks Lane, officers were called to a convenience store for a reported theft, gas drive-off. A man in a Ford Explorer filled up his tank and then left without paying his $101.65 gas bill.

July 11: Schertz Police Department, 1404 Schertz Parkway, a woman reported to police that she was the victim of identity theft. The woman said she got a call from her credit union that 9 to 10 charges were made on her credit car that morning, which were abnormal to her spending habits. The charges had been made in Florida; the woman told her credit union she had been here in Schertz when the charges were made, police said. The woman said she went to her credit union and canceled her card and that she would pursue charges against the person who used her card without her consent.

July 12: 300 block of Maske Road, a property owner told police that an unknown vehicle traveling southbound had struck part of his fence along Maske Road between the hours of 6 p.m. and 9 a.m. Estimated damage to the fence was $500.

— 6102 FM 3009, police responded to a reported theft of a purse a Wal-Mart. A woman said after she had eaten at the McDonald’s restaurant inside the store she was going to her car when she realized she had forgotten her purse. When the woman went back inside the store, her purse was missing. The purse was described as a fake “Gucci” purse with a silver G buckle.

July 14: 600 block of River Road, police responded to a reported theft of a vehicle. A woman told police that her 1998 Ford pickup was parked in her driveway over night when someone stole her tailgate, police said. The woman said the tailgate was not locked at the time of the incident. Case is still under investigation.

Universal City

July 6: 900 block of Kitty Hawk Road, a female was arrested for simple assault-family violence.

July 5: Loop 1604-South access road, police were dispatched to the scene of a hit-and-run collision.

— 100 block of Athenian, police responded to a report of criminal mischief, $1,500-$20,000.

July 4: 1000 block of Pat Booker Road, 300 DVDs were taken during the burglary of an apartment.

July 3: Northeast Methodist Hospital, police took information about a case of aggravated sexual assault of a child.

— 2000 block of Universal City Boulevard, a business was burglarized.

— 600 block of Pat Booker, officers took information about a theft ($50-$500).

July 2: 100 block of Villa Drive, police responding to a report of fireworks made an arrest for possession of marijuana.

July 1: Police Department, a U.C. resident reported a case of identity theft.
