7:54 p.m., 29400 Fairway Bluff – Police confronted a traveling solicitor who was operating without a permit.

Wednesday, July 23

8:24 a.m., 8400 Raintree Woods – Unknown actors “decorated” a resident’s trees, lawn and car with toilet paper and shaving cream.

4 p.m., 29000 Ralph Fair – Police pursued a vehicle that was believed to have been involved in an illegal dumping incident. While pursuing the vehicle, police observed the driver disregarding a stop sign and cited the driver for the offense.

10:24 a.m., 2500 FM 473, Kendalia – A resident reported stolen fencing.

Wednesday, July 16

4:21 p.m., 6800 Ranger Creek – Firefighters battled a 60-acre grass fire, saving one home that was in the blaze’s path.

9:43 p.m., Hwy 87, Comfort – A resident complained that a loud religious service nearby was interfering with his ability to enjoy his drink.

Saturday, July 19

12:22 a.m., Hwy 87, Comfort – Fire fighters extinguished a burning storage unit near the Comfort High School Agriculture building. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

10:49 a.m., 300 Kendall Jackson, Waring – Fire fighters extinguished a two-acre grass fire.

Sunday, July 20

12:12 a.m., Hwy 87, Comfort – A man was transported to a hospital after being assaulted by unknown assailants.

3:51 p.m., 100 Oak Meadow, Bergheim – Fire fighters extinguished a small grass fire.
