Boerne Monday, Aug. 4 5:38 a.m., 537 MM Interstate 10 East – A 911 caller said a red Pontiac would not let him pass and kept stopping in front of him. Police stopped the Pontiac and arrested the female driver for DWI and transferred her to the county jail. 9:23 a.m., 1300 S. Main A caller who witnessed a hit and run of a blue Mustang called to report the incident. 9:58 a.m., 100 Whisper Way A caller returned to her residence to find her city trash dumpster on fire. 7:51 p.m., 625 N. Main A caller said his handicap placard was taken from his vehicle. An officer located the placard in the glovebox. 8:23 p.m., Scenic Loop Road An owner of a day care facility reported youths on skateboards on his property. An officer contacted two juvenile females who were playing with a water hose. They were released into the care of their mother. 8:57 p.m., 400 S. Esser Assistance was requested by a couple who accidentally locked the keys inside their vehicle. Tuesday, Aug. 5 7:59 a.m., 537 MM Interstate 10 West – A 911 caller reported a male lying face down on the embankment of the interstate and a gray car parked nearby. The subject was a transient sleeping. 3:16 p.m., 31100 W. Interstate 10 West One person was arrested on a warrant for violation of a protective order. 4:54 p.m., 100 W. Evergreen A 911 caller reported that someone’s vehicle plowed into a brick mailbox sometime overnight. 5:21 p.m., 34900 Interstate 10 West The owner of a business called 911 to have skateboarders evicted from his property. 8:46 p.m., 400 W. Bandera A 911 caller said a female driver had a flat tire and was hysterical. She was determined to be intoxicated and refused transport to her residence. She then was transported to the county jail. 10:50 p.m., 300 Lake View A caller reported two motorists smoking weed. A responding officer was unable to locate the vehicle. 10:58 p.m., 1300 S. Main A caller said a driver was driving very slowly and being loud. One minor was cited for DUI. Wednesday, Aug. 6 8:32 a.m., 300 Esser A city employee found a bicycle in the brush off the hike and bike trail. A responding officer recovered, tagged and stored the bike. 3:35 p.m., 1200 S. Main A caller wanted to know if the city has a noise ordinance prohibiting loud music in automobiles. A responding officer advised the caller that the violation would have to occur in police presence for a summons to be issued. 10:55 p.m., Oak Park and Second Street – A caller said neighbors had been playing loud music all day and ought to get some sleep. A responding officer contacted the music lover, who agreed to turn the music off for the night. Thursday, Aug. 7 3:52 p.m., 100 Ranger Creek A caller said his former boss called him and threatened to “shoot and kill him” if the caller steals copper from a job site. A responding officer advised the caller the owner has a right to defend his property. The caller denied planning to steal and the boss denied making threats. 4:04 p.m., 1300 S. Main A 911 caller was concerned about his two children, who he said were passengers with his soon-to-be ex-wife, who he described as medicated and intoxicated. She was located and found to be OK. A responding officer gave both individuals advice on doing what’s right for the children. 4:42 p.m., 1300 S. Main A male subject was reported to be intoxicated in Aisle 5, yelling at shoppers and causing a disturbance. A responding officer learned the subject was upset because management had closed the front restrooms and made him walk to the back of the store to use the facilities. He was determined to be a passenger in a vehicle parked outside. Driver and passenger were advised to leave the location.
