Enjoying the outdoors is about more than just hunting and fishing. Safety plays a huge role in the enjoyment of the outdoors.

As a result, Bass Pro Shops at The Rim will offer the Bass Pro Shops Fall Hunting Classic. The Fall Hunting Classic is a 17-day event that focuses on hunting and the outdoors.

Fall Classic Seminar Schedule

Saturday

10 a.m. to 10 p.m.: Outfitters, Guides & Hunting Ranches weekend. Come by and see displays, demos and more by some of the best in the area. Meet with the guides or book a hunt.

10 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Al Brothers and Dave Richards, authors of “Observing and Evaluating Whitetail Deer,” will be on hand to autograph their award winning book and answer questions about observing whitetail deer.

11a.m. to 9 p.m.: (throughout the day with breaks)- Taxidermy preparation and mounting demonstration by Rhodes Brother Taxidermy & Game Processing of Kerrville.

Sunday

11 a.m. to 7 p.m.: Outfitters, Guides and Hunting Ranches weekend. Come by and see displays, demos & more by some of the best in the area. Meet with the guides or book a hunt.

11 a.m. to 6 p.m. (throughout the day with breaks): Taxidermy preparation and mounting demonstration by Rhodes Brother Taxidermy & Game Processing of Kerrville.

Aug. 23

10 a.m. to 3 p.m. – Bill Magee of Primos Calls. Demos and more on calling game.

10 a.m. to 2 p.m. - Steve LaMascus and Greg Rodriguez, award-winning authors of “The Texas Deer Book,” will be on hand autographing copies of their book and answering questions.
