September

Boerne Public Library, during the entire month of September, will be taking in non-perishable food items in lieu of fines for overdue books. Here’s how this annual program works: For every dollar you owe, you can bring in a box or can of food. If you owe 75 cents then you need to bring in one item; if you owe $5.75 then you need to bring in six items. This program is not for those who owe money only on damaged or lost materials. All food that is collected will be delivered to Hill Country Family Services.
