The Scout motto is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, and reverant. Lloyd Cunningham has spent nine years as a scout, and exhibits all of those qualities. He is currently the Senior Patrol Leader of Troop #58.

On Sept. 27, Cunningham received his Eagle Scout award and a letter of appreciation from the Bulverde Senior Center. Glenna Croft, the BSC director, attended the ceremony at Bulverde United Methodist Church, where Cunningham was honored.

A Smithson Valley High School sophomore, Cunning-ham was responsible for setting up the Bulverde Senior Center Web site. Cunningham taught himself programing and web building and he volunteered his services for this much needed project for the seniors.

Now that the Web site is online, Cunningham has done a great job of keeping it updated, while staying current with school work, camping and participating in many other interests.

To visit the senior center Web site, log into Bulverde Senior Center. com.
