Friday, Dec. 8:

12:22 p.m., 400 Stone Creek - An officer walked point while a guy recovered belongings from an abode.

12:32 p.m., 31000 IH-10 - A man wanted it known that a suspended employee showed up yesterday at his place of business and “punched him on the mouth.”

12:44 p.m., 500 Graham - An owner of an illegally parked vehicle requested additional time prior to its removal.

1:54 p.m., 400 E. Blanco - A terroristic note was found at city hall by a utility counter.

5:55 p.m., 100 Ebensberger - Advice was tendered to men purportedly congregating in a vacant lot to drink and listen to loud music.

8:11 p.m., 400 Frey - An investigating officer ascertained a suspicious vehicle contained only a lost motorist using his cell phone to determine where in the Sam Hill he was.

Saturday, Dec. 9:

2:31 a.m., IH-10, mm543 - An arrest ensued for driving while intoxicated and in possession of weed.

8:51 a.m., 200 Water - A soda machine was held up.

9:07 a.m., 400 Graham - A small child found crying and running down a street had eluded her baby-sitting cousin by unlocking a front door before anyone was awake - and not for the first time.

9:46 a.m., 400 Rosewood - A mom decided she no longer wanted her marijuana-smoking son living with her.

11:02 a.m., 300 S. Main - A suspicious character who requested being served by a sweet young thing was informed, “She was busy.”

12:07 p.m., 32000 IH-10 - After a customer smart-mouthed him, a business owner declined to rent the guy a trencher needed to complete a job.

1:35 p.m., 400 W. Highland - A woman choking on a bolus of food successfully removed the offending fare prior to an officer’s arrival.

3:38 p.m., 100 Green Meadows - A traffic cone was taken.

6:01 p.m., 1300 S. Main - Because damage looked long-standing, an officer was skeptical of a woman’s story someone had just backed into her car.

7:22 p.m., 1000 N. Main - One of a pair of gents involved in fisticuffs at a local water hole was booked for fighting while publicly intoxicated.

9:23 p.m., 400 W. Bandera - Before assisting a man possibly having a heart attack, an officer had to remove a .38 special from the guy.

11:04 p.m., 1300 S. Main - A scofflaw who had used stolen credit cards in the past was pinched on account of a local warrant.

Sunday, Dec. 10:

1:28 a.m., 100 Oak Knoll - A man filed criminal trespass charges on his stepdaughter’s boyfriend to stop the guy from entering the familial domicile at night.

1:32 a.m., 400 W. Bandera - Of a pair of youthful ne’r-do-wells, one was cited for driving under the influence and the other for underage consumption of alcohol.

8:35 a.m., 400 W. Bandera - A clerk flipped a switch after an officer ordered him to either turn on a gas pump or refund a customer’s prepaid $50.

9:58 a.m., 500 Johns - At her husband’s request, an officer located a safe and sound wife.

11:35 a.m., 100 Plant - Exasperated owners expressed displeasure after finding their business egged a second time.

2:52 p.m., IH-10 - A motorist claimed an 18-wheeler ran his vehicle off an interstate, causing it to crash into cables.

3:52 p.m., IH-10 - Despite myriad reports, an officer failed to locate a Christmas tree supposedly reposing in the middle of an interstate.

6:09 p.m., 100 Oak Grove - Approaching a fence set off a cacophonous canine.

Monday, Dec. 11:

10:32 a.m., 100 River - Although two guys leaning against restrooms for two hours appeared suspect to a caller, in reality, they were merely “enjoying the park.”

11:33 a.m., 31000 IH-10 – Although she had been advised by an attorney “to let the (police) department know in case criminal issues occur,” a customer in a dispute with a car dealership was told it was a civil matter.

12:40 p.m., 200 W. Bandera – A transient sitting on a curb by a church, who occasionally waved in hands in the air, appeared harmless to an investigating officer.

1:42 p.m., IH-10 – By the time an officer arrived to remove them, two large boxes had disappeared from an interstate.

1:58 p.m., 1300 S. Main – Index cards described as a “possible threat to Homeland Security” had been found by employees.

3:02 p.m., 200 Cibolo Crossing – Fraudulent activity was reported on a debit card.

3:53 p.m., 100 Adler – A man wanted sexual activities taking place between two teenagers beside his residence to cease.

4:56 p.m., 1000 S. Main – It was suspected an employee dipped hands in a business till to the tune of $900.

4:58 p.m., Chaparral Creek & Blanco – Two juveniles hanging out were surprised to find one arrested for pot possession and other cited for possessing paraphernalia.

5:54 p.m., 700 River – A dispute between neighbors was arbitrated.

8:40 p.m., 30000 IH-10 – A familial argument ensued when parents declined to allow their 23-year-old daughter to go to a motel lobby.

11:34 p.m., 700 River – Courtesy of a courtesy ride, a woman and her kids found themselves whisked away to their abode.

Tuesday, Dec. 12:

12:09 a.m., 1300 S. Main – A store manager had had it up to here with a customer who repeatedly returned merchandise, all the while cussin’ and spittin’ on a floor.

7:43 a.m., 400 E. Blanco – A deer met an untimely demise behind a funeral home.

9:37 a.m., 1300 S. Main – A project superintendent expressed concern about the safety of homeless people who had taken up residence near a construction site.

1:20 p.m., 200 Shadywood – As a result of a welfare check, a “fine” – but phone-less – man promised to call his daughter “as soon as he got one.”

2:59 p.m., 100 S. Main – A trashcan was taken.

3:40 p.m., 600 Oak Park – Complaints of an illegally parked trailer proved unfound after an officer discovered its owner had permission to park the thing on the owner’s property because he was working on her fence.

8:15 p.m., 200 Deer Creek – A man believed a check sent from Italy to purchase his truck was fake.

8:18 p.m., 200 Shadywood – For a second time, an officer assured a distressed daughter her dad was okay.

11:18 p.m., 100 W. Hosack – After a traffic stop, a motorist found himself slapped with a summons for paraphernalia possession and his passenger pinched for possessing pot.

Wednesday, Dec. 13:

12:06 a.m., 1200 S. Main – A clerk asked an officer to rout a guy from a bathroom so she could clean it.

7:53 a.m., Main & San Antonio – A man attempting to repair a broken down motor home was advised to make it snappy or have the thing towed.

8:16 a.m., IH-10 – Until her husband arrived to the rescue, an officer helped a woman remove her vehicle from a roadway.

12:55 p.m., 1400 E. Blanco – A deadbeat dad dogged by a $1,500 warrant was duly taken to a county clink, but later released as per an order from the AG’s office.

1:01 p.m., 100 Whisper Way – Another trashcan turned up missing.

2:18 p.m., 31000 IH-10 – A woman claimed someone else had signed a form authorizing an automatic monthly withdrawal from her account, not she.

3:35 p.m., 100 S. Third – A woman was advised to contact the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office about a protective order.

5:17 p.m., IH-10 – During a traffic stop, a motorist was detained for his two outstanding warrants and cited for being caught with drug paraphernalia.

7:21 p.m., 1200 S. Main – After a guy threatened his wife, she wanted to know how to get away from her dangerous husband.

10:34 p.m., 1200 N. Main – Advice was tendered to two motorists indulging in road rage.

10:59 p.m., 200 Stone Creek – Owners of continually cacophonous canines promised to mute their mutts for the remainder of the night.
