Compiled by Judith Pannebaker and Pat McIlhenny. Addresses are not specific. Rather, the location of the incident is given in the block in which it occurred.

Friday, Jan. 26:

4:56 a.m., 8400 Rolling Acres – A cacophonous canine punctuated the pre-dawn calm.

7:24 p.m., 7900 Dietz Elkhorn – Several juveniles said to be kicking out lights in the area of the golf course weren’t found.

10:45 p.m., 8200 Fair Oaks Parkway – A pickup parked at a subdivision entrance seemed suspicious to some, but it belonged to a resident who planned to move it in the morning.

Saturday, Jan. 27:

11:33 a.m., 8600 Delta Dawn – A resident said the man he had paid to put top soil in his yard had gotten the ground ready a couple of weeks ago, but hadn’t been back with the dirt.

3:36 p.m., 7700 Timber Top – Two guys seen in the area shortly before damaged fence lights were discovered may have been up to no good.

9:41 p.m., 28000 Ralph Fair Rd. – A brown horse galloping about wasn’t found.

10:55 p.m., 28500 Ralph Fair Rd. – Rounding up three horses – two large ones, one miniature running along the road — is tough enough during the day, but when two officers tried it at night, it took a while to herd the trio in a yard. Alas, no one in the area knew where the equines belonged, so the resident whose yard had become a temporary corral came to the rescue and agreed to keep the horses overnight.

Sunday, Jan. 28:

3:10 a.m., 7900 Fair Oaks Parkway – A cleaning crew heard a banging noise at a door of the country club, but officers checked out the area and found nothing amiss on what was described as a very windy night.

1:49 p.m., 7286 Dietz Elkhorn – A Colorado woman lost her purse somewhere between the San Antonio Airport and her daughter’s house.

Monday, Jan. 29:

11:18 a.m., 30800 Ralph Fair Road – A couple of officers escorted trail riders through the city on their way to the San Antonio Livestock Show and Rodeo.

5:48 p.m., 31500 Silver Spur – A woman who was having difficulty breathing was assisted by AMR and then transported to a hospital.

Wednesday, Jan. 31:

3:30 p.m., 7200 Keeneland – A traffic violation led to the arrest of a driver for not having a valid license as well as the outstanding warrant that showed up on the computer.
