 Olmos Park Chief of Sanitation Oscar Garcia is retiring from the city after 37 years on the job. Garcia started as a loader in the sanitation department, and has been chief of the department since 1987. Olmos Park City Council recognized Garcia during the Jan. 17 meeting, and presented him with a rocking chair for his long years of good work.
