Julie Heinen

Julie Heinen is survived by her husband, Charles Heinen, of Comfort; two daughters, Debbie and her husband, Neal Juern of San Antonio, and Kelly and her husband, Gregg Matte, of Houston; three grandchildren; her mother, Sally Mitchell, of Comfort; one brother, Rob Mitchell of San Antonio; one sister, Barbara Pankratz, and her husband, James, of Comfort; a sister-in-law, Ann Marie Cole, of College Station; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Friday in the St. Boniface Episcopal Church in Comfort, with Rev. Phillip Stevenson and Rev. Gregg Matte officiating. Graveside services and interment followed in the Comfort Cemetery in Comfort.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Hill Country Memorial Hospice, Comfort Public Education Foundation, St. Boniface Episcopal Church, Christian Ministry or to the charity of their choice.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Schaetter Funeral Home of Comfort.
